What Are Small Moves?
Small Loads, Same-Day, Emergency - We Handle It All
Not every move is a full-house relocation. Sometimes you need one couch moved across town. Or an emergency move because your lease ended sooner than expected. Or a taxi cargo delivery for 3 items from a Facebook Marketplace pickup.
We handle all of these with the same care as full moves - just faster and often same-day. No minimum move size, no booking fees, transparent pricing based on time and distance. Dispatch typically within 3-4 hours on weekdays for same-day requests.

Same-Day & Small Moves FAQ
The most common questions about our fast-turnaround services.
How quickly can you dispatch a same-day mover?
On weekdays, typically 3-4 hours from call to arrival. Emergency moves possible with 2 hours notice. Weekends and end-of-month are busier - 4-6 hours may be needed. Call to check availability.
Is there a minimum size for small moves?
No minimum. We handle single-item transport (taxi cargo) all the way up to small households. Book what you need, pay for what you use.
What is taxi cargo?
Taxi cargo is our name for 1-5 item transport - a single couch, a mattress and box spring, a few appliances from a store, or Facebook Marketplace pickups. Faster and cheaper than a full move.
Do you deliver furniture from stores?
Yes. Furniture pickup and delivery from IKEA, Living Spaces, HomeGoods, or any local store. Also great for delivery from estate sales, garage sales, or online marketplace purchases.
How much do small moves cost?
Depends on load size, distance, and time needed. Small moves are billed by time and distance - no minimums, no fees. Fill our form or call for a personalized quote.
Do you work weekends and evenings?
Yes. Small moves are often after-hours or weekend requests. We work Monday through Saturday, and can arrange Sunday for true emergencies.
Are same-day movers as careful as regular movers?
Yes - same crews, same equipment, same blankets and protection. The only difference is timing - we dispatch fast but don’t rush the actual move.
